Yard Spawn Points

The Yard has 8 spawns, which form two parallel lines on the north and south side of the map. The yard is fairly easy to defend because many of the spawns start inside the buildings, which provide ample cover. Vehicles may skirt the outside of the area, but can not easily reach the flag itself. There are good locations for support turrets, as most attacks will come down the staircases. Planting infantry sonars inside the buildings can be effective, as they are unlikely to be destroyed by stray fire.

Clever attackers can use the defender's position to their advantage, however, if they clear out the area with grenades and orbital bombardment. This will give a squad time to quickly take the flag, and any enemies that were able to spawn must exit the buildings quickly to retake it, or risk being overrun by newly spawning players. Recon class players can also use their invisibility well, as most of the spawns do not have a direct view of the flag and the crates can provide cover within the capture radius.

The Yard is only a capture point on 16 and 32 player maps, although is still sees action as a choke point in the 64 player map. Spawn points are numbered starting at the north-west corner and continuing clockwise.
