Grand Park Spawn Points
Grand Park is an interesting flag, and exists on 16, 32, and 64 player Assault Lines maps. (It is named Insertion Point on 16 player maps.) What makes it so fascinating is that all 7 spawns are on the east side of the flag. The east side is farthest away from other flags, away from the road, and near both ground turrets, making this an excellent flag to defend if the attackers have no well-placed beacons.
If you are going to attack the Grand Park, a beacon on the north side, the monorail, or on the east near the crashed Titan can serve you well. While capturing the flag, face east and plant APMs or sentries facing east to help with newly spawning attackers. If you are attacking to deplete tickets instead of capturing, there is a good sniper opportunity on the north monorail near the map boundary. You can cover four of the seven spawns from here, all of which spawn facing away from you, and the other three spawns can not see your location immediately.
Players working on knifing badges will also appreciate the density of the spawns on the east side. Spawns 6 and 7 are especially vulnerable. Grand Park is also a great location for getting kills in the ground cannon. On 32 and 64 player maps, the EU will frequently attack with Battle Walkers and the Goliath. The ground cannon on the north side can hit walkers as they come across the bridge, can fire at infantry podding up to the monorail or the south ridge, and can cover the gap between the two buildings that leads to Main Square.
The spawns are numbered starting at the north-most and going clockwise.
